Bagan – Thatbyinnyu Temple
Built in 1144 A.D by King Alaungsithu (grandson of Kyansittha), Thatbyinnyu Temple is the tallest Temple in Bagan (200 feet high). Its white appearance is different than most others as it is a brick masonry building covered in white stucco. I am only able to provide photos of the outside as we were not able to enter the Temple. We wished we could have been able to see more as it is generally thought of as the most beautiful Temple in Bagan.
